“Try it mummy: feel like a child again with me. If you live in the moment, you will learn that nothing is astonishing when everything is astonishing.”
With the new Fall-Winter 2016/17 collection, Original Marines wants to bring back to life a magical world full of emotions, amazement and spontaneity: little everyday moments that portray the world as seen through the honest eyes of a child.
From cheerful awakenings to classroom high jinks, from playful connivance between parents and children to a mother’s tender hugs: #originalmoments.
In the ironic, earnest and light-hearted campaign, the brand’s core values are presented in the welcoming city of Portland (Oregon) thanks to the talents of the internationally renowned photographer and director Achim Lippoth.
“With the new Fall-Winter 2016/17 campaign, we have managed to convey the joy, freshness and quality of our collection for children aged 0 to 16. It is a collection that has been planned and conceived with a special focus on the individual moments of use during the day: from school, free time and weekends to playing and special occasions. Behind the creative spirit of the new campaign was the desire to accompany children in all of their moments and experiences, seeing things from their point of view while also underlining the exceptional trusting relationship that our brand has enjoyed with each of its customers for more than 30 years,” stated Domenico Romano, the Marketing Manager of Original Marines. “With #originalmoments and the vision of Achim Lippoth, we wanted to tell a story that was both reassuring and moving, in order to reveal and underline the distinctive, unique nature of our brand, which is increasingly specialized and devoted to families and authentic values.”
So let’s all try to feel like children again, because:
“A child is a person like you, just a bit smaller. However, they don’t stay small for long: after a while they grow up. Childhood doesn’t last forever, so make the most of it while you can and stock up on its wonders.
As a child, I’ve seen things you grown-ups wouldn’t believe. Or perhaps you would believe them, but you can no longer experience them.
What you grown-ups call memories, I call moments in my life. #originalmoments.”
